Chaz Strickland is a scenographer and stage manager currently based in NYC. Their previous design work includes: Medea (Scenic Design), Antigonick (Costume Design), HomeBody (Scenic Design), Fearless (Projection Design), Anxiety is the Dizziness of Freedom (Asst. Scenic Design), and The Music Coma (Production Design). He is thrilled to be working on The Nursery and thanks Seo for their unwavering support and collaborative spirit!


Cynthia Black
Costume Designer

Cynthia Black is a distinguished costumer of 30 years, celebrated for her work across film and television. She is best known for her contributions to the costume teams of The Electric State (2024), Unfrosted (2024), Perry Mason (Season Two), West Side Story (2021), The Glorias (2020), The Irishman (2019), Mary Poppins Returns (2018), The Aviator (2004), the original Spider-Man (2002), Pleasantville (1998), Charlie’s Angels (2000), Practical Magic (1998), Jerry Maguire (1996), and Wyatt Earp (1994)


Molly Litvin
Sound Designer

Molly Litvin (she/her) is a fourth-year Tisch Drama student, training at the Production & Design Studio, concentrating in Sound Design and Stage Management, with a double major in Educational Theatre at Steinhardt. Selected credits include: Cabaret (Tisch New Theatre, Sound Designer/A1/A2), Marry Me A Little (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, Associate Sound Designer), Into The Woods (Steinhardt, Assist. Zijun (Neil) Wang
Lighting Designer

Zijun (Neil) Wang is a director and lighting designer with a BFA degree in Theatre from NYU Tisch Drama. Select directing credits: Hollow Cross (CSSA GALA 2024), The Insanity (Theater for the New City), Accidental Death of An Anarchist (Theatre Row). Cluanie Swanwick
Stage Manager

Cluanie Swanwick, a queer and autistic actor from Australia, holds degrees in Film and Television acting from The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts and Musical Theatre from Federation University. At college she co-directed and portrayed Trina in Falsettos and was ensemble in the original off-West End cast of the new musical Winner, written by Joe Barros and Nico Juber. She has just recently stage managed You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown for FIPAP in Fire Island.


Beatrice Onions
Dramaturg

Beatrice Onions is a Writer/Actor/Producer, born in Wales, raised in New Zealand, and based in New York. She has received rigorous arts training from around the world, including the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and the Victorian College of The Arts, in Australia. Having served as the creative assistant to one of only six female TONY Award winners for Best Direction of a Play, Beatrice is now adapting her own plays to the stage in London and New York. With a love for the written word and a fiery enthusiasm to be in proximity to courageous artistic projects, Beatrice is thrilled to be a part of this exciting new production of The Nursery.


Tess Fortier
Graphic Artist

Tess grew up in Los Angeles, where she started out painting murals, customizing shoes, and working backstage on high school productions. During her time at UCLA, she continued to work as a freelance artist while working part-time as a concert stagehand. She is thrilled to combine her passions of art and stage production to design the playbill for The Nursery. Tess extends her gratitude to the production team for their trust and the opportunity to contribute to this project!


Matt Walting
Production Manager

Matt is a Brooklyn-based director, producer, and production manager for stage and film, and is currently the resident production manager for The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Independent productions include Just Say Goodbye (2019, Director/Producer); Fit (2022, Producer) Smackman Resurrected (2023, Producer); A Particular Minute (2023, Producer). Educational productions include Emerson College's 39th and 40th Annual EVVY Awards (2020 & 2021, Post Supervisor & Technical Producer/Cinematographer); promotional producer for The Emerson Channel, and staff producer at Emerson Productions. Matt's prior works have earned him title of Best Director award at Boston International Film Festival (2018), and Silver Telly Award for Post Production (2021).
